Ashaway Free Library - $575.00 Support Summer Programming – Native American Beading and Superhero Science programs
Boy Scout Troop 121, Hopkinton - $1,000.00 Camperships for Boy Scouts to attend Camp Yawgoog in Summer 2023    
Chris Collins Foundation - $500.00 Expansion of Peer-To-Peer Mental Health Awareness Program, Exeter-West Greenwich school district
Domestic Violence Resource Center of South County - $1,500.00 Support the residential housing program – Safe Home, Transitional Housing and Permanent Supportive Housing
Frank Olean Center - $500.00 Improvement of multi-sensory garden and pollinator garden for community of clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. 
Jonnycake Center of Westerly - $1,500.00 Support children’s food insecurity programs – Power Pack and SPLASH  
Literacy Volunteers of Washington County - $1,000.00 (5) iPads for students and tutors to improve teaching and attain 21st-century learning opportunities.
Ocean Community YMCA, Arcadia Branch -  $3,000.00 Support the YCares financial assistance program to provide program, camp & membership scholarships for youth, teens, families and adults

Ashaway Free Library    $575                                                            Funding supported reading program events for kids to provide exciting and multi-faceted experiences engaging with nature, music, and movement. 
 
Chariho School District
 Richmond Elementary School $736
 
  Funds purchased seedlings and grow rings that supported the vision of growing hydroponic food in the cafeteria. Students had the opportunity to watch food grow while learning about fresh fruit and vegetables. 
 
CHS Future Business Leaders of America Chapter                                   $500
Funds will be used to send 10 state-qualified Chariho students to a national FBLA competition in Chicago. This experience will further prepare students for careers in business. 
 
Community 2000 Education Foundation                                                  $1,000
Funding will help to establish a robotics lab at Chariho High School. This lab will engage students in advanced learning around STEM and coding and help to prepare students for future technology-driven careers. 
 
Friends of Chikumbuso                                                                                 $1,030
Grant funds will be used to make improvements to an outdoor kitchen at the Chikumbuso school in Zambia. This kitchen supports meals to 500+ K-12 orphans enrolled at the school.  
 
Chris Collins Foundation                                                                               $1,000
Funding will be used to expand the Chris Collins Peer-to-Peer Mental Health Awareness Program into the Chariho Middle and High Schools. P2P focuses on the early detection and prevention of depressive disorders.  
 
Hopkinton Boy Scouts- Troop 121                                                              $1,000
Funds will provide camperships allowing local youth to attend a week-long program at Camp Yawgoog in Rockville, RI. The program promotes physical fitness, self-reliance, social development, spiritual growth, and citizenship. 
 
As an example, as part of our Spring 2022 funding cycle, The Chariho Rotary Foundation, the charitable arm of the Rotary Club of Chariho, granted $13,676 to non-profit organizations doing important work in our Chariho communities. These funds were raised through the contributions of members and fundraising events such as our annual golf tournament and strawberry shortcake booth at the Washington County Fair.
